CSMIO / IP-M 4 motion controller by CS-Lab

The motion controller is connected to the PC via Ethernet. The physical layer is galvanically insulated and the protocols used ensure reliable and fast transmission, even in a difficult industrial environment. Virtually all other interfaces do not offer the same continuity and reliability for transmission as Ethernet. That is why it is currently the global standard for fast digital communication.

Motion controller that you can easily install

One of the biggest advantages of CSMIO / IP-M motion controller is the simple installation. It does not require external electronics for proper operation. Input / output signals are optically isolated, filtered, protected against short-circuit, overheating, etc. All signals are adapted to the industrial 24V standard. The device is enclosed in a compact housing, mounted on a DIN rail, making mechanical and electronic installation in a control cabinet less time-consuming and even simpler.

Software for motion controller CSMIO / IP-M 4

The CSMIO / IP-M motion controller works with Mach3 and Mach4 software. The software offers enormous possibilities to apply specific requirements. In addition, Mach3 software for the CNC industry has proven its quality for years and has grown into the most widely used software for controlling CNC machines.

Step / dir signal - Ensures smooth and accurate operation of the motors.
Data buffer - Ensures continuous operation of a CNC machine.
Slave axle support - One slave axle support / 2 motors on 1 axle, x1 and x2. Note, no portal correction!
Security system - Constant monitoring of safety for a user and the CNC machine. It consists of many independent algorithms and monitoring elements that respond very quickly in the event of alarm situations. RESET support for axle drives. Support FAULT signals from servo drives (immediate stop of a machine in the event of an axis accident).
Solid aluminum housing - which dissipates heat and protects electronic circuits very well. LED-readable controls on a front panel that make it easier to set the diagnosis. Simplify in case of problems with switches or other external devices that work together with CSMIO / IP-M motion controller.
VB macros - You can control all digital and analogue signals using VisualBasic macros.
Industry standard - CSMIO / IP-M motion controller is adapted to worldwide standards used by servo and stepper driver manufacturers, including:
-step / dir-outputs supported by differential line transmitters DS26C31 (meets the RS422 standard)
-opto-isolated 24VDC digital outputs supported by specialized systems with protection against short-circuit and overload.
-opto-isolated 24VDC digital inputs
-0-10V analogue inputs for connecting potentiometers of spindle rotation speed correction and shaft power.
-0-10V analog outputs that are used, i.a. for VFD control.

Expansion modules for motion controller CSMIO / IP-M 4

You can extend the functions of the CSMIO / IP-M motion controller using the CSMIO-MPG expansion module for manual axis operation and handwheel encoder. Also available as a complete set! It offers a very smooth control of the machine movement and automatic switching between the speed and position modes.

PAY ATTENTION!:

CSMIO-ENC and CSMIO-IO are not supported by the CSMIO / IP-M motion controller.
